To enhance the security of your Twitter account, enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a must. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up 2FA using the Authenticator App.
Step By Step Guide

STEP 01
For iOS: Visit the App Store and search for "Authenticator App" Download and install the app.
For Android: Head to the Google Play Store, search for "Authenticator App" and install it.

Click on Profile. From the drop-down menu, go to Settings and Privacy.

Tap: Security and account access > Security > Two-factor authentication. Finally, enable the Authentication app.

Tap on Get started, after that, choose Link on another device.

A QR code will appear. Take a screenshot of the QR code to add in the authenticator app. Open the authenticator app. Tap on the plus (+) button to scan the QR code. You can enter the security key manually in the authenticator app.

After successfully scanning the QR Code screenshot, the Authenticator App will automatically fill account name and secret key. Tap on "Add."

Return to the Twitter app and enter the numerical token in the appropriate field. When done, tap Confirm.
