How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication for Etsy
To enhance the security of your Etsy account, enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a must. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up 2FA using the Authenticator App.

STEP 01
Download and Install Authenticator App
For iOS: Visit the App Store and search for "Authenticator App" Download and install the app.
For Android: Head to the Google Play Store, search for "Authenticator App" and install it.

STEP 02
Sign in to your account
Sign in to Etsy and select “Your account.”
Choose “Account Settings.”

Locate 2FA settings
Choose Security.

Set Up 2FA
Setting Toggle the Authenticator App.
Select Next.

Add Account
Open your Authenticator App and click on the Add button.
Scan the QR code using your authenticator app.
Enter the code from your authenticator app into the text box under the QR code

Back up codes
Choose Next. Save the backup codes provided in a safe place. You can use these if you ever lose your phone.
