How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication for CoinDCX
To enhance the security of your CoinDCX account, enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a must. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up 2FA using the Authenticator App.

STEP 01
Download and Install Authenticator App
For iOS: Visit the App Store and search for "Authenticator App" Download and install the app.
For Android: Head to the Google Play Store, search for "Authenticator App" and install it.

Sign in to your account.
Sign in to your CoinDCX Account and go to Security.
A menu dropdown highlights Security.

In Security → Authentication, you will get the option of activating Authenticator.
Click on Setup.

Set up 2-Factor Authentication
Follow the steps for setting up 2-factor authentication.
In the QR code screen, open your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator) by Maxima Apps on your phone and scan the QR code.
Click Setup (highlighted).
Copy the secret key on your screen.
You will need this in the next steps.
Open your Authenticator App, tap the plus (+) button, and hold your device up to the computer screen to scan the QR Code.
You can also manually enter the 2FA key into your authenticator app.
After successfully scanning the QR Code, Authenticator App will automatically fill in the CoinDCX account details and secret key.

STEP 05
Verification
Verify the connection by entering:
Account password
Secret Key
OTP from registered phone
Authentication key from Authenticator App
Click Finish Binding.

2-Factor Authentication enabled
Now your CoinDCX account is protected with an extra layer of security.
Press Go Back to return to the previous screen.
