To enhance the security of your Coinbase account, enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a must. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up 2FA using the Authenticator App.
Step By Step Guide

STEP 01
For iOS: Visit the App Store and search for "Authenticator App" Download and install the app.
For Android: Head to the Google Play Store, search for "Authenticator App" and install it.

Click on Account in the top right corner and select Settings.

Select security. Click on manage and add your primary contact number.

Select the Authenticator app as a method of authentication.

Coinbase will send you a 7-digit security code. Enter that code into the verification field and press "Confirm."

A QR code will appear for you to scan with the Authenticator App. Keep this window open as you reach for your phone. Open the Authenticator App and at the bottom of the screen, tap the plus (+) button. Scan the QR code.

Copy the numerical code provided by the Authenticator App and confirm it on the Coinbase website by clicking "Enable." Note that this code updates every 30 seconds.
